MEET KEVIN LLOYD-THOMAS

Hi my name is Kevin Lloyd-Thomas and I am here to tell you how I beat chronic PTSD and substance abuse.

Leaving the army left me with a lot of issues and even more questions.

One of those questions is at the end of the fist chapter of my book BEAT PTSD: How A Combat Soldier Conquered Chronic PTSD To Living A Life That Truly Matters and How You Can Too.

The questions I needed answers to were:

And what of the future? Where am I going, and what’s my ultimate objective?

The answer to those questions are what this website is all about.

It’a about opening your mind.

‘Your mind is like a parachute….It only works when it’s open’

For those of you, or if there are people you know, who are suffering from PTSD I have made a couple of videos to talk a little about my story and why the information in BEAT PTSD could be crucial to help you to a successful recovery.

What of the future?

An absolute treasure trove of information across all aspects of every chapter, and then some. The very latest in scientific research across the brain, the mind, the gut, and PTSD. It will come from some of the greatest brains and minds on the planet.

It will be in the form of interviews, updates from all kinds of sources, both found, and from others making contact to make a contribution to helping others. It will be from researchers who know of the journey, and the objectives of the book and the website, to make a difference in the lives of others.

Where am I going?

As a ‘work in progress,’ I’m going down the same path as everyone who reads the book, then makes a decision to take control of PTSD, including those that don’t have, or don’t think they have any of the symptoms, but who do want a “Life Plan.”

People who implement it to live the life of their dreams and aspirations. To be in control of PTSD. To live a life of purpose and passion, to make a difference, to live a life that matters.

What’s my ultimate objective?

To do whatever it takes to stem the tide of suicide and family breakup in the military community of serving men and women, and veterans.

The issue of PTSD

How recognising it and its symptoms, and asking for help is the best decision. The why and the how of doing so anonymously, to eliminate the potential of stigma, or career threat, even if you’ve transitioned out of the military. To NOT tell those who don’t have a need to know.

How to take back control.

Tools, techniques and strategies to remain in control. If you are married, or have a partner and children, why you must involve those who you love, and are nearest and dearest to you. The synergistic benefit of doing this together. 2+2 = more than 4… It’s 5,6,7, and even more!

Everyone wins!

Then the 5 Step Life Plan, and the 7 Pillars To Success. Life’s total picture. A complete roadmap and strategy to get to wherever it is you want to end up in life.

As you reflect back on your life, to be able to say you’ve achieved everything you wanted. You are truly fulfilled. You are content and happy. You’ve ticked everything off on your ‘Bucket List.’ You’ve made a difference. You’ve lived a life that truly matters.

Where we can all say, ‘Me too.’ That’s what this is about.
